Block 4 term 2 class details
Day 1
Macro Economics
Kicked off with the first of 3 Macro sessions. Before jumping into the country presentations to be shared by each team over the course of the 3 days, we somehow still had some other slides to cover…?! If your interested in what these were you will have to look them up in B courses, since I’m sure I don’t know now. And also a brief discussion on FT headlines - actually reading the FT on a regular basis may be one of the key things many of us take away from this class….and then Team 1 (brave souls) were up first! Go Team 1.
Finance
Then it was time for our last real Finance class of the block and term since Saturday is the exam. This has been such a practical class overall and Matteo has been amazing (very good!). We gave him some wine, but I think he was really rather pleased with the ABC’s of Finance book Miles found for him for his daughter. Thank you Matteo we loved your passion for discounted cash flows and seriously for being passionate about helping everyone with financial literacy.

Final class of the day and again apparently we still have 2 full classes of Marketing content to cover this block before the final videos/presentations….phew! I think today was about Access and distribution channels…
Day 2
Macro Economics
Back to Macro and a full session of Country presentations.
Marketing
Today’s class was focused on Promotion….some funny ad’s towards the end of the class were what I remember the most for making me feel slightly more awake - it was starting to get really hot in the room again with some AC issues.
BTBR
Then last class of day 2 was our final final (ever!) class of BTBR. We focused on how to tell our stories with some welcome time to move around outside on what was a beautiful Friday afternoon on campus. Then some brave classmates shared their stories and Narek especially inspired us with his story of pushing through the slog of learning - just what we all needed to hear right now as we head out to prep for day 3…thanks Narek.
Day 3
Marketing
The final Marketing class was here and this was the fun one - the one where we all showed and watched each other’s video or presentation on our Marketing plan’s. Such a fun session and so many inventive and creative products and plans….stand outs were Krissy’s drinks and Tom’s shirt…which made a re-appearance in macro later too…
After the fun we had time for some nice final reflections with Professor Huff before presenting him with his highly appropriate and appreciated lego gift….

FINAL SESSION - Thank you to the teams that had to wait this long to do their presentations (and straight after the Finance exam!) - this was some day (and some block, and some Term!).
