Term 2 block 4
What a block and term! Suddenly it was finals again which like Term 1 did mean a bit more studying and presentations prep going on in the evenings this block - but we made it - with a little (or a lot) of fun included too.
Wednesday evening kicked off with a group heading into the city to see a play starring Ariela from Lead Comm, so a high culture start to the block. Dave even hired a van for the ride to the city and there were a bunch of hitch hikers from the Oakland airport where he picked up the van….Sunny seemed happy to see everyone.
Some EMBA 24’s joined with some of our cohort for the play.
Riding the van with Sunny and Dave from Oakland airport.
Thursday and Friday evenings seemed a but more subdued….still some smiles to be found though….
Last minute cramming….
Team work! And can’t beat some wine in a red plastic cup.
So you will have to check out the class details blog to see how it all went down - country presentations, marketing videos and a Finance exam - there are a few fun pictures included here too.
And then finally it was done and the celebrations on Saturday could begin….some were able to get through the Finance exam quickly (lucky them) and squeeze in a beverage before our final Macro class and presentations….
They look too happy….
While others found some different treats on the streets - these got us through the final class of the afternoon…
It was time to pass Sunny onto the next very deserving owner in Vijay who has quite the selection of bears now….thank you VJ for everything you do for our cohort, you are appreciated by literally everyone!
And finally Chris came through with the goods at the end of class again and managed to sneak in a saber (or is a sabre…?) for some very safe champagne sabering celebrations….even managed to get professor Hanna giving it a go….somehow though I don’t think any of us are surprised….??!!
Some people had to rush off home or to the airport, some made it to the Graduate after class for a few celebratory drinks and some headed over to Laura’s later that evening for what I’m sure was another memorable night. I think our big final hurrah for Term 2 is coming in our immersion week in April - hopefully the schedule allows for a a little (or a lot) of fun.
Don’t forget to check out these memories from class….
